As a member of a small team who serves our External Stakeholders; lenders, regulators, tax authorities, the role is to help the Group Financial Controller to manage the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation processes and the annual Group Audit and monitor and lead tax planning across the Group.

Mission and responsibilities:

  • Work on the monthly consolidation process including monthly balance sheets, P&L and cash flows and quarterly notes to the financial statements (English only)
  • Handle, support and control regional scopes and become their main contact for consolidation requirements
  • Provide auditors with required documents and justifications
  • Help develop and settle organization and monthly closing processes across the Group – work on the fast close process implementation (accounting background expected)
  • Contribute to the redaction and update of the Group’s accounting & consolidation manual, as well as IFRS updates
  • Advise and support Operating Units on accounting and reporting matters, as well as on the consolidation tool
  • Monitor compliance with financing arrangements across the Group
  • Perform ad hoc projects as needed
  • Participate to the administration of consolidation tool (Tagetik): implication in the evolution projects on the tool, train end-users, redact some instructions + One-pagers for end-users

Experience and skills:

  • 4+ years experience in Audit, ideally in a Big 4 environment, or in a corporate consolidation department of an international group
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and of consolidation
  • Strong interest in managing a consolidation tool (the knowledge of Tagetik consolidation tool would be a plus) and interest in evolutive IT tools (power BI, etc)
  • Good Excel skills, preferably including macros and Power BI
  • Fluency in English
  • Good understanding of systems and data flows within a large organisation
  • Excellent organisational skills will be useful to help the Group structure itself
  • Dynamic, ambitious, quick learner
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills
  • An energetic, adaptable and flexible approach; ability to appreciate other points of view and reach pragmatic solutions
  • Interest in the group’s activities, business sense
  • Occasional travel is required, worldwide
